British Canadian Teacher and University Student with 6 Years of Teaching Experience. Hi! Hola! I’m a TEFL-certified English Teacher currently based in Canada. I’m British-born, a Canadian citizen, a mom of 2, and a fourth-year university student working toward becoming a certified in-person teacher here as well. I study Sociology and Political Science with a minor in East Asian Studies. I taught on italki between 2018-2024, and now I'm back! I’m very involved in my community. I used to post English content on my Instagram and podcast. I want you to be comfortable and at ease. This will help you talk better, if you are nervous you will make more mistakes. You are welcome to ask me any questions as it is important to build trust between teacher/student, and I will be asking you lots of questions myself. I am here to build your confidence, but please remember if you are serious about improving, you need to study at home outside of lessons. You must give 24 hours notice to reschedule/cancel the lesson. In my lessons I want to get you talking as much as possible, while also trying to provide you with a challenge in talking about some topical and difficult subjects.
