Liliana always helps me understand not only the literal meanings of words, sentences, and phrases, but also the correct context in which to use them, as the context is not always the same as English.

I can always rely on Mrs. Rodriguez to be on time/give a good class catered towards my needs as a student. My communication/comprehension skills always increase with every lesson that I have with her and it's always a pleasure/good experience learning from her. She's very patient and culturally aware and professional!

Liliana is excellent about nudging you in the right direction when you make a mistake, but not correcting you so completely that you can't remember all her changes and/or feel so defeated you don't want to keep speaking. She makes learning both fun and effective. I would recommend her to anyone hoping to learn Spanish.

It's nice that Liliana is willing to incorporate aspects of her daily life into our conversations. Today, she actually gave the lesson from the hospital at which her mother is recovering from surgery. It was an interesting way to learn new vocabulary about the medical industry and health, and it will be easier to remember because it's personal and emotionally resonant.
