Welcome to my intro!
Here are 5 little facts that might interest you:
#1 My accent is Received Pronunciation (standard British English)
#2 I have taught English to students of all ages from many parts of the world, including Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Additionally, I have trained for and worked with a young learner on the Autistic spectrum before, which allows me to adapt to different learning needs
#3 Before becoming a long-term educator, I was involved in the creative world of visual arts, and
project management in digital marketing
#4 Cultural exchange and language learning are two of my many favourite things in life

My first teaching experience was after finishing university, working at a summer school in the UK as an EFL teacher for students from Germany. I taught teenagers between the ages of 11 - 16 there.
Fast forward to after I got married, another teaching opportunity arose, and this time, the role was to teach Grade 1 children at an international school in China. Whilst working there, I also helped applicants prepare for placement exams to get accepted by the school. Since then, the teaching bug really began! Having moved around a lot has also enabled me to tutor learners young and mature virtually, which has been an incredible journey, and I strive to broaden my skills and service!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My teaching approach is fun, casual, and with mini-goals in mind. Providing a relaxed environment for my students and helping them gain confidence are my top priorities. So, if this is what you are looking for, we might be a good match.
For young students, our classes will involve playing games, reading, and/or watching short videos. Then, have discussions based on them afterwards.
For adults, our sessions will be more about guided discussions based on topics provided by me. And of course, themes selected by you will also be a bonus!
Most importantly, the materials I use are of international standards aligned with Cambridge Assessment, CEFR, WIDA, CASAS, and CLB.我的教学资料
