Olesia

I always enjoy my lessons with Olesia! I appreciate how she structures our time in a very productive way and is encouraging and patient. She customizes each lesson to focus on what I want to work on and helps address my weaknesses with Ukrainian, I always leave having learned new vocab/grammar concepts and am very grateful to have a teacher like her. I highly recommend to all.

Olesia is the most passionate English teacher I have ever met. Having classes with her, I always feel like how time flies. I get to know so many useful phrases in class, and she always helps me to recap and use those learned phrases/words in the conversations. Besides, It is not only about the English itself, but also the quality of content talked in class, which does broaden my horizon. She corrects my mistakes and gives me real-time feedback such as the more precise and native way to say it, which is really helpful. A moderate amount of homework is given every time and the conversation class is all fulfilling!

I think there are not many teachers who love their job so much like Olesya. She is very responsible and always tries to teach in the best way. She looks for special approach for every student and always find new interesting materials to make lessons fun and not boring. Olesya has great sense of humor and a lot of patience! I really enjoy learning English with her. She makes me feel comfortable and not afraid to speak. :-) <3<3<3

Olesia is a wonderful teacher! A few months ago, I decided that I was going to learn Ukrainian from scratch and, given that this would be my first language in the Slavic group, I started right away with Olesia. I'm so glad I made that decision! We've had more or less weekly lessons since then and my progress has been steady, thanks to her. She's a driven, but compassionate and patient, teacher and she's done a fantastic job of providing resources and introducing me to helpful beginner's media in Ukrainian. She's also got a great sense of humor! The fact that she speaks Italian, too, is a bonus as we often have fun translating phrases into Italian, but her English is excellent, too, which of course I needed since I was starting from A0. So, if you're looking for a Ukrainian teacher, I highly recommend Olesia! I plan to stay with her for the continuance of my linguistic journey!

I started meeting with Olesia a little over two years ago, when I only knew the Ukrainian alphabet. Since then, we've covered grammar concepts like cases and conjugations of verbs in different forms, studied a lot of vocabulary, and done hours of speaking practice. My Ukrainian has improved a lot in just a couple of years and I feel much more confident in my abilities. Several months ago, she helped me prepare for a Ukrainian speaking test, where I was able to achieve an Advanced score thanks to her help. These days, we discuss new vocabulary from the books I’m reading in Ukrainian and are beginning to analyze the works of well-known Ukrainian poets. It’s been very rewarding to move on to more challenging topics and see how far I’ve come with her lessons. I’m really grateful to have found Olesia as a tutor. She is very invested in my progress and always tailors our lessons to my goals and interests. I highly recommend her to those interested in learning Ukrainian!

Olesia is such a wonderful teacher. She is patient and funny and flexible. I first met with her while completing a formal course as I needed more practice speaking and working towards my exam. I am now continuing with her to expand my vocabulary, continue practicing cases, and to gain more cultural insight. She is always willing to switch gears, answer my crazy questions, and help out in ways I don't expect. She really enjoys teaching and her energy is always positive. She also has tons of fun material on a great selection of topics. Highly recommend!
