I learn so much more in a lesson with Belem than I have with any other teacher, including the college classes I have taken. She immediately explains small things that mean a lot to my understanding of the language, and no one else ever took the time to explain these things. She is also so detail oriented, and I need that! I have had the best experience learning Spanish with Belem!

Working with Belem for the past eight months has been transformative for my Spanish language skills. When I first started, I was a complete beginner with no prior experience in Spanish. Now, I am able to carry on simple conversations with Spanish speakers, a testament to her exceptional teaching abilities. Belem has an incredible knack for making even the most difficult topics easy to understand. We have worked on many types of input, including reading, grammar, listening, shadowing, and writing. She explains concepts clearly in both English and Spanish, ensuring comprehension at every step. Her use of examples and guided practice makes learning engaging and effective. Additionally, she tailors each class to suit my skill level and interests, making every lesson both relevant and enjoyable. Belem's personalized approach and supportive teaching style have been key to my progress and confidence in speaking Spanish. She is always upbeat, friendly, and has a great way of keeping the class

I absolutely enjoyed my lesson with Belem. this was my 6th lesson and in this lesson I started to actually practice speaking my own sentences in Spanish instead of reading them. it was definitely a struggle for me (speaking ) but Belem made it enjoyable and fun and made a plan to help me improve. 100% recommend

I had my first lesson today with Belem and cannot say enough about her professionalism and preparation for this first lesson. The time went by so quickly and she had me speaking some Spanish during this lesson. I learned more from her in the trial lesson than from all the time spent on language apps. I wish we crossed paths earlier, but I look forward to future lessons with her. If you want to learn Spanish, you will be satisfied with Belem's teaching philosophy.

I’ve had a few lessons with Belem by now and I’ve really enjoyed them! In fact, I always look forward to our next lesson. :) She is very patient, and great at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. Her classes feel calm and comfortable, so you never feel afraid to make mistakes. At the same time, she encourages you to step outside of your comfort zone and try saying new things, which has really helped me with speaking more confidently. I have ADHD, and she is great with that too. The lessons never feel too overwhelming, and everything is explained at a comfortable pace. If you struggle with pronunciation and/or speaking in general, she is especially helpful and gives really useful corrections and guidance. I would definitely recommend her!
