Other cultures and languages inspire me, so I love to travel and talk to people from different countries and learn about their lives and traditions. After university I spent 4 years working abroad and travelling to as many places as possible – so far I’ve visited lots of Europe, Asia, Australia and North, Central and South America. When I'm not exploring or teaching ... My other hobbies include reading, lots of sports (running, cycling, hiking, yoga, aerial acrobatics) and art.

NOTE: I usually add new classes to my schedule 1-2 weeks in advance when I know my plans for the week, to avoid cancelling lessons. You can assume that if the time is available now, it generally will be for future weeks too! I love learning languages myself, so I understand the types of problems you might have and how to help, and that learning is more effective when it's fun! With years of experience teaching, I will adapt the lessons to challenge and interest you. I understand the value of a great teacher, so am committed to help my students get as much as possible from each class. General English conversation and Cambridge exam preparation are my specialties, for all levels and ages.

Typical classes are divided into 3 SECTIONS: > REVISION of vocabulary and grammar concepts from the previous lesson – vital to help things stick in your memory. > NEW WORK based on homework – this could be a summary or discussion of an article/podcast/video, grammar point, or looking over a writing task. > EXERCISE like a short debate, role-play picture description exercise or game, depending on what you enjoy. > HOMEWORK if you want it (recommended!) --- Topics will be diverse, relevant and engaging, supported by lots of interactive learning materials. I will always maximise your speaking time and correct your mistakes. Feel free to send me a message or book a lesson!
