Wei Wei is a world-class teacher in my honest opinion. Being her student is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to me. I knew instantly from watching her videos online that the only way I would learn Mandarin is if Wei Wei is my teacher. I have extremely high standards for my teachers partly because I know that I'm not just learning the subject at hand from my teachers, but I'm also learning how to be human through my teachers. Wei Wei's commitment to her craft and her students is unwavering. She is in integrity with her word, honest, and holds me accountable. The way she also teaches ("direct experience") is my favorite way to learn. If you are a musician (singer, instrumentalist), you will see that learning Mandarin with Wei Wei is like singing. It's like muscle memory when playing instruments as well. With only a few lessons with Wei Wei, I'm already able to ask and answer questions in Mandarin with the correct tones and pronunciation. Give yourself the gift of being Wei Wei's student.

Amazing. Wei Wei is a master Chinese educator. She gets to know my children’s interest, learning preferences, and dispositions towards Chinese, works these into her approach with each individual child, and continually checks in to assess that they are making progress and growing in their interest in learning Chinese. What Wei Wei does is not simply helping them learn Chinese, but grow an authentic interest and love of the Chinese language. Wei Wei also offers supportive videos for individual practice between lessons that my children find really easy to access and use. All around, Wei Wei is an incredible teacher and humans

Wei Wei is an excellent teacher; having worked with her for a few months now, my pronunciation, comprehension and fluency have all improved significantly. I particularly appreciate her focus on accurate pronunciation, as well as her ability to highlight the differences between Taiwanese and other vernaculars.

I've been working with Wei Wei Laoshi for the past eight weeks, and the results have been fantastic. She is patient and attentive to the things I want to work on as a Chinese speaker and has a deep understanding of both language and pedagogy, which makes each class fun, engaging, and informative! While I use Mandarin every day for my job, I have been feeling a bit rusty when it comes to speaking and writing and was looking for a way to get back to the level I was at when attending graduate school in Taiwan almost a decade ago. These classes are doing the trick! Wei Wei ㄌㄠˇㄕ uses really unique approaches for her students. When learning other languages in the pat, I always slchose an analytical approach - to learn grammar and language structure, have all "why's" answered, etc. So, trying Wei Wei laoshi methodology was an experiment for me. And oh, I'm so glad I decided to try it! With a focus on recognising and reproducing Mandarin sounds, I see my sense of the language to form way quicker than usual. Thank you.

Wei Wei Laoshi’s experience and level of professionalism are impecable. I am a teacher myself so my standards are high. She knows how to interact with young learners in a professional manner to create an online learning experience that is full of respect and accomplishment. During her classes she does not move on from a lesson until she knows that my children have mastered the skill. There is a driving factor in her personality that I have already seen being beautifully transferred to my own children.
