Greetings! I am Pablo, a certified Spanish instructor and historian specializing in Latin American studies. Since 2018, I have been delivering online Spanish instruction, integrating linguistic education with the cultural richness of our region. My academic background in history allows me to offer a unique perspective, blending language acquisition with historical and cultural insights. I have extensive international experience, having taught Spanish and Argentine tango across South America and Europe. From 2015 to 2020, I operated a boutique guesthouse in Buenos Aires, where I conducted immersive Spanish and tango programs for international visitors. Book a trial class and start learning!教学经验
My main focus as a teacher is that you manage to talk and communicate fluently in Spanish. For that purpose we will work with text books, authentic material, grammar etc.
You will learn new vocabulary, new grammar and new expressions in every class, and the goal is to use them in conversation in every class.
If you are an intermediate/advanced student and you want to practice only conversation, we will do it in a fluent way, focused on your topics of interest and correcting possible mistakes, pronunciation and intonation.

I use the communicative method on my classes, so we will focus everything you learn to use it in communication. We can work with text books, articles, song lyrics and everything that is your topic of interest. Tonight we did a little more work on direct and indirect object pronouns which is very helpful to me. We also practiced conversational Spanish which is one of my main goals in working with Pablo. Pablo is very good at keeping the conversation interesting and in respectfully guiding me in my spoken Spanish whenever I make mistakes.

Today Pablo helped me continue working on reflexives and direct and indirect object pronouns. As a native English speaker, these have always been difficult concepts for me to grasp. I worked through some exercises with Pablo that were very helpful in better understanding these.

Pablo is continuing to help me with the subjunctive tense with some real-world examples which is very helpful. Really enjoy speaking with Pablo about world events and using that as a fun means by which to practice my conversational Spanish!
