Monica is the best teacher I have found on iTalki. We practice all four skills and my Spanish is improving rapidly. She is interesting to talk to and the lessons are really fun. Monica speaks clearly and uses a wide range of simple yet interesting materials. I am always amazed at how much I understand when I'm in a lesson with her. Highly recommended!

Mónica is not only an excellent tutor in the skillsets one would expect, but brings a creativity and a breadth of cultural background, knowledge and familiarity that is rare. If you have interests in literature, theatre or the arts in general, she will find and offer those as a conduit for the language learning, so that one finds oneself with many new resources to continue learning on more than one level.

Mónica is incredibly present, diligent, and helpful with all aspects of one's Spanish-learning journey. My Spanish has significantly improved as a result of the ever fun and interactive classes I'm taking. I also have a much better understanding and appreciation of Colombian and Latin American culture. Monica is an amazing Tutor - the best I have found on iTalki. She brings great cultural resources to the lesson and we have read some Marquez and others together. It's always a great conversation! I have had to take a break for a few months and I was nervous before returning to lessons but Monica was so supportive and we ended up picking up where we left off!
