🌸 Japanese accent is a combination of high and low pitches. 日本語のアクセントは、高低の組み合わせです🌸 ⁎ˇ◡ˇ⁎こんにちは☀️ I am so glad your journey brought you here. When I share Japanese, my passion lies in its sound. Did you know it is a rare pitch-accent language with no stress, and every inflection can simplify into just two piano notes—C and E? In our sessions, we ground ourselves in the four basic pitch patterns. I gently weave in nuances learners often ask about, such as vowel devoicing, nasal sounds, and the rhythm of prolonged sounds. Whether practicing conversation or textbooks, these musical elements are naturally integrated. When your accent aligns with these pitches, your Japanese naturally sounds fluid and resonant. When you speak with these natural rhythms, it creates a beautiful harmony; we feel connected through the heart of the language. This builds profound confidence and awakens the pure joy of learning, like a child discovering their mother tongue. My teaching is quietly guided by meditation at a temple in Thailand. Through this stillness, I treasure conveying the spiritual essence and inner heart of Japan. My room is always filled with the laughter of my students. Together, we look beyond grammar to explore daily lives, the seasons, and cultural contexts—embarking on a shared journey. I deeply cherish acoustic vibrations. I spend days recharging in nature, embracing the five elements, to share a calm, grounded presence with you. Let us explore Japanese together, creatively, as if painting art. As a complete beginner I appreciated that Anri started from the foundations of Japanese language - sounds, pronunciation and the intention behind them. She embeds Japanese culture, values and traditions into language learning.
