2020年6月11日起成为italki教师

I'm Gabriel, a French and Nepalese student living in Paris. I have spent most of my life surrounded by people from all over the world, thanks to the many international institutions I've attended! I've always loved interacting with people of different backgrounds and ages, particularly by making them laugh (one of my dearest skills...). Meeting new people is one of the main reasons that drew me to italki; despite my sociability, I consider myself an introvert who prefers interacting in calmer settings. I have also always been driven by the idea of helping people and making them happy. These two main points pushed me to believe italki suits my style perfectly!

教学经验

After having taught French in after-school classes to other students in my schools, I have noticed that I can really put myself in the shoes of the person trying to learn (as I have a passion for learning languages myself). This leads to me being very patient and often aware of the struggles of the learner. I do not wish to fully impose a teaching style to someone, I am flexible and will adapt myself depending on the individual's preferences. Aside from that, I always try to create a warm atmosphere, giving the learner the confidence to speak the language despite their mistakes. Above all, I want them to feel good talking to me and interacting with me in general.

Since I am fully bilingual, I offer French and English lessons, so I also offer conversation lessons in English, for English learners. French: as a tutor, my intentions are to familiarize the learner with the French language and its numerous, daily expressions (through their hearing and their speaking). I thus intend to speak as much French as possible with them, while letting them express themselves more than me (pushing them to "think in French"). I thus have a various range of styles that can each adapt to the individual in question.

Gabriel is young, but he is a very very good tutor. I use about 10 French tutors regularly, and he may just be the best. He’s very patient and he always takes the trouble spell out any words you don’t understand. I would strongly recommend him.
