I have experience teaching kids, so I’m aware of the struggles that language learners can experience. It doesn’t matter what level of Japanese you have, as I can also help you in English if you prefer, even though I'm not quite fluent in English yet though. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, so let's have fun learning together!

In my lessons, I am totally open to students' requests. I mainly focus on conversation, using either textbooks or topics for discussion. You can also use your own textbooks or materials if you prefer. I organize our lessons flexibly. I have Japanese textbooks available, such as Genki 2nd edition and Minna no Nihongo. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

With Yumiko's help, I'm able to read written stories at an N4 level, 4 months after starting to learn Japanese. She even wrote out the story in hiragana afterwards. An amazing teacher, definitely the best I've had on Italki.
