I can really feel my confidence building as we have general conversation about things I do on a day to day basis... and about things going on around me. In the beginning I was terrified of attempting to have a conversation with a Spanish speaking person. But Ester is definitely building my confidence!

My sessions with Esther so far have been nothing short of enjoyable. You know how you have good days of language learning -- you're enthusiastic, you're able to carry a conversation without any issues, and you really feel like you've leveling up? Yeah, then there's the bad days of language learning -- you have low energy, you can't string together extremely basic responses, and you feel a bit of imposter syndrome happening. In either case, Esther makes me feel comfortable and focused on the task at hand -- which is to just keep the conversation going. Her meticulous notes and notetaking are very useful for students (like me) who like to go back and review our conversation. Esther speaks both target languages that I'm trying to acquire (Spanish and Korean). Sometimes, I forget the word in English or the Korean word will come to me first and Esther easily navigates all three languages during our session. A complete value-add in my book!!
