Hi, my name is Jazmine! I am a 27-year-old American, fluent in English. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a minor in Global Affairs. I'm a certified English tutor with a Level 5 TEFL Diploma and over 3 years of teaching experience on Italki. I specialize in conversation practice and love listening to a wide range of topics and opinions—no subject is too big or too small! In our lessons, I correct grammar errors in real time and explain the “why” behind each correction, so you can speak more accurately and confidently. I also encourage questions about grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation—your curiosity is always welcome!
In addition to conversation, I offer reading practice to help with pronunciation, vocabulary building, and overall comprehension. It’s a great way to expand your language skills while exploring interesting texts together.

As an Italki tutor, I want to bring out the best in my students and help them express their thoughts clearly in English. My expectation is that every student will have a different cultural background than my own and this leaves room for us to learn more about each other. My teaching style is interactive and playful.
