Hello! I’m a certified TEFL teacher from England with a degree in English and Creative Writing, now sharing my passion for language in Australia. Over five years, I’ve helped students from toddlers to adults master English—from first alphabet lessons to confident storytelling and exam success.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me crafting stories, crocheting quirky creations, or tinkering with game design. My multicultural experiences (living in Hong Kong, South Korea) inspire me to make learning vibrant and tailored to your goals. Let’s turn language into adventure!教学经验
I have been teaching English for the past five years in Hong Kong, South Korea and online, teaching children as young as three and adults. Some of my younger students have gone from learning their alphabet, to reading, and on-wards to writing full sentences. I have prepared students for school interviews in Hong Kong and for Trinity (oral) exams, PTE, FCE, IELTS and TOEFL (please keep in mind I am not officially trained for this).

I have a flexible teaching style where it is exceedingly important to understand the student's needs. I teach in English to create a fully immersive environment, especially for children.
Below are some of the lessons I offer:
Kids course: from as young as 3 to as old as 15. Focus on any aspect of their English, including exam preparation (as required).

English Basics: the basics with visual aids.
Conversational: for intermediate and advanced adult learners to improve speaking skills.

Contract - English Excel - 2019This is the first page of my contract with English Excel. If you require more, I can scan the back page of the contract. I can also send you my extension contract for 2020. At English Excel, I was working with children between the ages of 3 to 15. I taught children how to read, write and speak in English and helped them to improve their skills in these areas and in listening too.

Toni Marie is an excellent teacher with a lot of patience. She prepares her classes thoroughly and has a great sense of humor. Although I take adult classes with her, I can clearly see her strong vocation for teaching children, so I have no doubt that her classes for kids must be amazing. Her work is highly recommended.
