I have four university degrees, including a PhD in reflexive learning, which for me is a blend of social and cognitive psychology.
My personality? I'm empathetic and I really relish helping people to overcome their own unique issues and problem... including giving you the confidence to speak English anywhere you need to, online and offline. If you're an introvert who gets stressed just thinking of speaking in front of people... you sound just like me. And yet, I've managed to build a career on it, speaking in several continents and having lived in four countries.教学经验
My approach is very informal. Why? Because I want to help you shift your focus from "perfect grammar" to "powerful communication.
While we can certainly work on grammar and explore different types of English, my primary focus is on making you a more confident and effective speaker. We'd work on practical skills such as:
Speaking with confidence, even if you're an introvert.
Managing performance anxiety and imposter syndrome.
Using an appropriate speed, tone, timbre and volume for your audience.
I specialise in topics around the social sciences, psychology, and education, but I am happy to help you prepare for presentations and discussions in any field. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My teaching style is informal and focuses on one core belief: effective communication is more important than grammatical perfection.
As a native speaker who has delivered over 10,000 talks, I know a secret: your audience isn't there to judge your grammar. They are there to hear your ideas. Many people I work with suffer from imposter syndrome or a fear of speaking that holds them back. My main goal is to help you overcome that.我的教学资料

It was my first lesson with Marcus and it was a really interesting discussion about different topics, especially the use of English worldwide. He always came up with suitable examples and ideas that kept me engaged throughout the conversation.
In addition, he provided detailed feedback and suggested useful actions to put into practice, particularly to improve my fluency and pronunciation. I am looking forward to our next lesson.
