I need a coach, not a teach. Diana figures out where I am at, and works from there. She gives me direction on what to do next. She understands that there are plentiful resources I can learn from, and therefore she does not need to teach, but coach instead.

I have been taking classes with Diana for the past few months and it has been an amazing experience! Diana is a great teacher - she has a number of methods for teaching from presentation style and structured lessons to more simple conversations back and forth. She is adaptive and flexible, easy to understand and very responsive to messages and scheduling. I've purchased multiple lesson packages from her and it's been a great way to help keep me accountable for practicing and I can tell I have made a lot of improvement already! Plus, we have had many good conversations about our respective countries and cultures and I love learning about Guatemala and seeing beyond just the technical language but also the most common ways to say things and everyday phrases. I will continue to make classes with Diana a regular part of my language learning!

Diana is a great teacher. She comes to class prepared. Since I am not yet very good at understanding Spanish, she says everything in both English and Spanish. That was I get the listening practice I need and I understand what was said. Diana is aware and remembers that at present I am short on time, but that I will be freeing up some time in a few weeks. She adjusted the lessons to accommodate that.
