Nina is always fun and helps me so much with my Bulgarian. I never feel shy or intimidated even though I make lots of mistakes. She explains and always sends my corrections and things that I didn’t know so that I can look over them

Nina is a brilliant teacher! I honestly don’t know how I would have got as far as I have without her. I look forward to her lessons and am really pleased with my progress- I feel like I have progressed so much over the past few months! She has such a flexible approach and whatever I start to talk about, she just picks up straight away. We have a mix of casual conversations as well as current topics. She helps me by correcting my mistakes, giving examples and also helping sometimes when I am struggling. She’s also extremely patient and is happy to wait whilst I try to explain myself, and this really pushes me. Although my Bulgarian isn’t fantastic, I feel very comfortable trying and after each lesson I come away feeling a little more confident and positive that I will eventually get there. I try to book in for 2 x 30 minutes per week, which feels like time to talk without feeling like I’m running out of steam and I love to read her feedback, which is always constructive and encouraging!

This was a great lesson! Nina helped me build on what I had learned the last lesson. The material was accessable but also challenging and I am motivated to study in order to be prepared for my next lesson. Thank you!

Another lovely lession! These conversation lessons with Nina are an important part of my Bulgarian studies. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to develop versatile language skills.
