I have taken lessons with Carlos about once a week for the past eight+ months, and I have seen tremendous growth in my Spanish during that time. He is patient, knowledgeable, and creates a comfortable environment that makes learning enjoyable and effective. His lessons are engaging, well-structured, and tailored to my goals. Carlos is an excellent teacher! I'd highly recommend him if you want to learn with someone that knows what he is doing as a teacher, but also a class that feels like you are talking to a good friend. Definitely one of the nicest, most upbeat and interesting teachers I've had. Our one hour classes fly by because the conversation is so interesting. Although I'm writing in English (to help those that can't read Spanish so well), I have an advanced level and Carlos notices even the smallest details to make sure that I sound natural when I'm speaking. Looking forward to the next class amigo :)

Excellent class structure! Carlos does well with taking the lead and guiding you through conversations even if you are uncertain on how to talk about certain topics. He is very good at asking simple questions that keep the conversation going but also challenge you to think and speak reflexively. You will find yourself problem solving and speaking about concepts in Spanish that you did not think you were capable of, and Carlos' methods make it so that you can do so without fear or anxiety! Great teacher!
