Hello everyone! My name is Erlenzi Quintero Aguilar. I view myself as idealistic, creative, and passionate about my profession. I would also use these words to describe my approach towards learning in general. As I have grown as a professional over the past 10 years, I have learnt new things every day. Following this path, I have fallen increasingly in love with teaching, writing, literature, songs, and with all the life-enhancing work that human beings create and enjoy in the vast universe that we call language.教学经验
I have long professional experience in planning lessons based on the interests of each particular student, and in crafting lessons according to their academic level and age. In every lesson I seek to elicit the student’s trust and enjoyment, because these are necessary factors in making the learning process pleasurable and motivating. My experience as both a teacher and a student have allowed me to understand that real learning is found when there is interest, enjoyment, and practical application. My greatest satisfaction comes when a student develops his understanding and is enthusiastic about moving further forward. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My teaching style is informed by the work of Professor Stephen Krashen on second language acquisition, especially regarding the importance to the student of receiving input that is relevant. The learner of a language must be exposed to it, fresh and new, as if he were a beginner swimmer and the language were water. For this reason I look to the learner himself to find themes, and then I design attractive activities to provide an immersion that is meaningful. Apprised of the person’s interests, experiences, and preferred learning style, I try to keep their motivations as high as possible.我的教学资料
