Mizuki-sensei is a very professional, detail-oriented teacher. He provides great explanations even for complicated grammar concepts, and always opens class with an interesting discussion of current events/holidays in Japan. Purchasing a lesson package with Mizuki-sensei has been one of the best investments I have made in my Japanese language studies. I highly recommend booking a lesson with Mizuki-sensei, so long as you don't take my regular time slot!

Class structure was pretty simple - just free conversation, but Mizuki sensei was careful to help keep conversation flowing and not let it sit quietly while I struggled to bring my thoughts together in Japanese. Free conversation is also well-suited to my current language-learning needs, and he helpfully corrected me whenever I used unnatural or ungrammatical expressions as we chatted.

I have been taking classes with Mizuki-sensei for close to two years in a row, and I have nothing but praise for his classes. He is very professional, flexible, and knowledgeable. He can teach anything from basic Japanese, JLPT, business Japanese, or anything else that the student wants to focus on.
