Pepe is a fantastic teacher! I worked with him for 10 months practicing Spanish conversation so that I could help Spanish-speaking clients at my job. My job has now given me the all-clear to speak Spanish with our customers, thanks to Pepe's help! He is very patient and helpful, and he makes class fun by incorporating different games and role-playing scenarios. I would absolutely recommend Pepe if you're looking to perfect your language skills. He'll make sure you're set up for success!

I have been working with Pepe since December 2022 - more than a year and a half! I have a regular schedule where I meet with Pepe twice weekly, and I've seen my Spanish skills explode! I now have a strong enough vocabulary to use Spanish at my job and in my everyday life; and now being able to speak Spanish has been life-changing. Early on when using italki I tried a couple of different teachers, and Pepe has been the best. Pepe is fun, easy to work with, knowledgeable, and has flexible teaching styles. My personal preference for lessons is casual conversations, but Pepe has also been available to provide me high-quality instruction on specific grammar concepts when I need it, integrating different technologies into the lesson. Pepe is patient and encouraging with my mistakes. Pepe also has his own podcast that I subscribe to that has additional study materials. I always look forward to my lesson at the end of the week where I can tell Pepe about my new successes with using Spanish!

I have been taking lessons from Pepe for several months now and am blown away by how far my Spanish has come. In the beginning, I could hardly string a sentence together and after around six months, I am conversational and even find myself thinking and dreaming in Spanish. Pepe is a patient and knowledgeable instructor and very easy to talk to. I’m happy to call him my instructor and my friend. Choosing to work with him was by far the best decision I’ve made in my Spanish journey. I can’t recommend this instructor enough!
