Good teachers are truly one of the most beautiful things in life. She is a great teacher. And if you want to take your Korean language skills to the next level, this is the perfect person to help you get there. I’ve had many teachers throughout my life. Soona is definitely in my top five favorite teachers ever!! Learning a new language, like Korean can be very tough, especially for English speakers. She will help you learn to pronounce every syllable. She will be very patient with you. She has the ability to explain things in a way that is easy to understand and digest. She is a great teacher. It’s time to take your Korean skills to the next level. And this is the tutor you need to do it.

Soona is an amazing teacher! I've now had lessons with her for almost a year and I went from barely being able to string together a sentence to talking about all kinds of interesting topics. She is incredibly flexible, fun, good at explaining concepts and also giving you exercises that allow you to apply those concepts immediately. I'm currently doing her writing challenge, which I can also highly recommend. There's new topics all the time, so you constantly have to learn about new words and sayings in order to get your point across. It's been a big part of expanding my vocabulary/improving my grammar and it has really helped me gain confidence when producing sentences. The feedback is great because you get grammatical/semantical corrections as well as more native-like alternative suggestions that you can learn from.

Learning a new language is scary! It can be very intimidating to speak a foreign language as a student to a native speaker! But when you have the right teacher, they encourage you and make you feel comfortable and confident to practice speaking because you know your teacher will support you! You feel safe with the right teacher because you know you can make mistakes and the teacher will continue to encourage and support you Soona is that type of teacher. Very few teachers have the ability to make you feel comfortable enough to make mistakes. But practicing and making mistakes is a part of the learning process. So when you have a great teacher like Soona, you will feel safe and comfortable to practice without fear. You can practice with confidence without feeling bad if you make a mistake. Very few teachers can do this! Soona is one of these teachers. She should be your next tutor!!

Taking classes with my Korean teacher has been an incredible experience. Even though life gets busy at times and also the time change in Europe during winter sometimes makes scheduling challenging, just one class with her always leads to significant improvement. Her patience and encouragement create a comfortable learning environment, and her ability to smoothly correct my sentences without discouraging me truly sets her apart. I feel so lucky to have her as my teacher—she has made learning Korean enjoyable and effective for me. I wish italki had a “Teacher of the Year” award because she absolutely deserves recognition for her outstanding teaching. If such an award existed, I’m confident she would win not just prizes but also the appreciation she deserves for her dedication and skill. Thank you for being the best teacher I could have hoped for!

I’ve met many people in my life that have had an impact. Very few of them stand out as extraordinary. But there are some who shine like twinkling stars in the night sky. My grandmother, and my wife are two of those heroes. Then there are my heroes when it comes to teachers too! Soona it’s definitely a hero teacher. She is a champion of kindness, intelligence, and has an ability to teach you something as complex as learning a new language! When it comes to learning a language, it can be very difficult. Choosing the right teacher is the most important decision you can make. So let me save you some of the work. Soona is the teacher you need to hire right away. She is an extraordinary human being, a great teacher, and my friend. You cannot do any better than this.
