Mickey Teach

Mickey is great. He's strict and provides a lot of correction, but does it in a friendly way that doesn't leave you feeling awkward or embarrassed. He's also very good at identifying your weakpoints and providing really targeted teaching, so the lessons feel productive and useful. His sense of humour also keeps the lessons fun and enjoyable!

The first lesson with Mickey was great! Right from the beginning he adjusted to my needs, provoked the competitive side of my personality, made me think about my mistakes instead of giving me the answers right away while he was still there to offer me a helping hand and answer any of my questions. His naturally funny personality was just an icing on the cake and made the class more enjoyable and memorable. I am looking forward to another lesson with you Mickey :).

It was my first trial lesson on the italki platform as well as my first Swedish lesson ever! Mickey Teach asked about my learning preferences in detail and prior language learning. We then transitioned to a basic written dialogue in Swedish, from which I practiced pronunciation, comprehension, grammar and even a little Swedish culture. Tack!!!

Mickey är en jättebra lärare. Han är väldigt tålmodigt. Innan vi började jag kunde inte pratar så bra. Men nu två månader senare kan jag talar väldigt fritt. Dessutom är Mickey jättemotiverande. Jag tycker att han är en bra bedömare av vilken nivå man är på. Lektioner är alltid roligt och hjälpsam. Tack så mycket Mickey!

Highly recommended! Mickey comes across as being extremely professional and firm as a teacher, but also is very friendly, approachable and humorous at the same time. The perfect combination!
