Giada is incredibly friendly, outgoing, and an absolute delight to talk to. She has a rare gift of instantly making you feel like you’ve been friends for years, even within just a few minutes of conversation! I have to say her understanding nature and personable approach create a very comfortable learning environment. Giada is very committed to helping others improve their Italian skills, and her dedication shines through. I taught for almost 34 years. During that time, I learned that making connections with students and creating lessons that interested them would enhance their experience. I have studied Italian for two years and love to read historical fiction, especially about the Middle Ages. I am currently reading "Lionheart," the fourth book in Sharon K. Penman's Plantagenet series. When I booked my trial lesson with Giada, she very quickly realized that I had a strong interest in history. Here is what sets her apart from other teachers. She tailor-made lessons which built upon my love of the medieval world. Giada ensured that ALL of our discussions and my homework related to history. As a retired teacher, I know how much prep time is required to do this. Furthermore, Giada uses humor which helps to reduce my fear of making mistakes.
