Marilyn Kathy

Marilyn is a great teacher! She lets me speak freely but also corrects me and teaches me new vocabulary. Lessons with her are very fun and beneficial :)

After almost a year of my kids taking lessons from Marilyn, I want to do this review because she deserves it. She has been teaching my kids twice a week since the last year. (even during her vacation) My kids are 2.5 years old and 4. They have learned a lot. They began by watching cartoons beacuse my kids did not speak at all. Today, my kids play together in French, they sing too. The older one, speaks to Marilyn and understands everything she says. Sometimes, she reads her books in French and counts too. Marilyn get my kid to pay attention to a TV for 45 minutes. They dance and jump during the class. It looks like a daycare by virtual. She is very didactic, knowledgeable, and her accent is very clear. Her passion for teaching can be notable from miles of distance. Highly recommended.

Madame Kathy is a great tutor – she is easy-going and friendly, but also really dedicated to helping you advance your language skills. I’m very much a beginner, and she was able to customize our lessons around my current strengths/weaknesses. She provided constructive feedback on my pronunciation, which I desperately needed help with, but also very encouraging throughout the multiple lessons. She is very personable, and even focused our materials on my upcoming trip to Paris – phrases, needed vocab, etc. I liked that she provided exercises for me to work on in my free time, which really helped with retention. I enjoyed my private lessons, and plan to continue on with her this Spring.
