2020年4月28日起成为italki教师

I am from Osaka. I have a bachelor degree in International Relations and I studied Business Administration at Cardiff University in the UK as an exchange student. After graduation I worked as a full-time English teacher in Osaka for four years! Besides teaching English, I am a certified Japanese teacher as well, completing a 420-hour training in Japanese teaching. In 2016, I worked as a part-time Japanese teacher and taught a group of eight Taiwanese students using textbooks “Minna No Nihongo(みんなの日本語)”. In 2017 I moved to Taipei in Taiwan and worked as an English-Japanese editor/translator for English learning materials until 2018. Now I’m in Hobart, Tasmania :)

教学经验

As an experienced language teacher, I always place importance on practicing what students want to achieve. Please feel free to let me know what you want to achieve so that we can create a better lesson together! If you want to practice grammar, I make sure that you use the target grammar repeatedly during a session so that you can use it in conversation with confidence. We can also practice Japanese conversation in a variety of situations while focusing on learning phrases that native Japanese speakers would use in our daily lives.

I offer lessons for ... - Conversation - Grammar - Survival Japanese for travel I can teach Japanese through either Japanese (direct method) or English (indirect method), depending on whichever suits your needs. Any levels including a complete beginner are welcome! We will have some time for a small talk in Japanese at the beginning of each lesson, as I want to be sure that you have sufficient exposure to the Japanese language in every lesson! (Don’t be scared if you’re a beginner, we can always talk about our hobbies or favourite things!)
