I’m so satisfied with my lessons with Francesca! She does just the right combination of things in our 60 minute lessons : natural conversation , a little grammar, some listening and reading. The lessons are well rounded , and I can see she knows my abilities and my weaknesses really well so the lessons feel relevant to me. 🌟 sometimes I’m shocked by how many lessons we’ve done together, but it’s really no surprise thanks for Francesca and her attention, support, and desire to help!

Francesca is a fantastic teacher. Her Italian lessons are clear and well structured, with a good mix of grammar and speaking practice. I feel much more confident with the grammar concepts that we have covered so far, and I appreciate that I have access to detailed lesson notes that I can use for revision. Most importantly, the lessons are really enjoyable! Francesca is very easy to chat to, she tailors the lessons to topics that I find interesting, and has provided great suggestions for extra resources to supplement my learning. I would highly recommend taking Italian lessons with Francesca!

Having worked with Francesca on my Italian for over a year (and continuing), I can testify to the high quality of her lessons and my own palpable sense of progression. While there may be many Italian teachers/tutors out there, often they don't speak good English. But Francesca does! Having lived in London, she can mediate between languages, identify cultural pitfalls, and empathize with some of the challenges that English speakers face. I highly recommend Francesca in your Italian language journey!

There is a good reason why I have taken almost 90 lessons with Francesca. Often, I become intimidated when trying to speak Italian and consequently I make many careless mistakes. However, Francesca has a great teaching style. She has a good sense of humor which she uses to create a relaxed learning experience. She has many examples and exercise at her fingertips to better explain Italian grammar when it comes up during a conversation. Lately I have been confused with prepositions and Francesca gave me a few dozen sentences today illustrating how and why prepositions are used. The lesson was extremely beneficial. I recommend Francesca as a teacher if you need flexibility as well as structure. She is very good at transitioning from a casual conversation to creating a structured lesson.

Francesca makes learning really fun, I’m amazed at how quickly I’ve began picking things up. She also intuitively notices areas where you may need extra help and adjusts her lessons accordingly - excellent teacher (ottimo insegnante!)
