Hi! I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor with over 5 years of experience helping adults gain confidence in speaking. As a native British speaker (neutral accent), I specialize in Conversational and Business English.
Originally from Norwich, UK, I now live in Turkey with my husband and three cats. Learning Turkish myself, I understand the challenges of language practice and create a relaxed, encouraging space for you to grow. Let’s turn nerves into fluency and confidence together!教学经验
I have been a Community Tutor on Italki since January 2020 and find it very rewarding to be able to help people to improve their English.
I am here to help you gain practice experience by having real conversations with a native speaker.
I pride myself on being able to build students confidence so that they feel comfortable speaking English and believe in their abilities.
I fully understand how nerve-wracking it can be to try to speak to someone in the language you are learning and I hope that you will leave the lessons with me feeling happier and encouraged. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My teaching style is relaxed. I am not a strict teacher so please relax and try to enjoy our lessons.
My main goal is to help improve your confidence and fluency with your speaking.
I can help you with your pronunciation, tone, widen your vocabulary and offer friendly corrections.
I have also recently introduced a new lesson type where the conversations are focused on work life and Business English.
I am patient and compassionate so hope to put you at ease.
Please note I only teach adults (over 18), and Italki's 24 hour cancellation policy applies to all of my lessons. Lessons to be conducted on Teams where possible.我的教学资料

Clare is more than a teacher teaching you in the lessons. She is more similar to a good friend who will teach you with a lot of patience and love of her work. She is an empathic person and elocuent, you can talk with her about anything. I enjoyed a lot of speech with her, she corrected my mispronunciation and helped me improve a lot. I never thought I could progress fast, but with her it was possible. Furthermore, she always shows up on time :).
