I really enjoyed my first Swiss German lesson with Pavy. She started with some fun facts about Switzerland before moving into a well-structured lesson using Google Docs for vocabulary, grammar and examples. She also shared helpful resources for extra practice, including a video and an article. She answered all my questions clearly and provided examples in German and English when needed, which made the Swiss German words much easier to understand. If you're looking for a fun and knowledgeable Swiss German teacher, look no further! :)

Pavy is simply the best! I have been studying with her for more than a year now, and in the course of these two years, I passed the Goethe B1 and then the Goethe B2 tests. She is not only the best at explaining things and tailoring lessons to your exact level and needs, but she also offers tailor-made materials. The lessons are very packed and interesting. I have tried various approaches to learning German, and learning with Pavy is by far the best. Highly, highly recommended. Pavy ist einfach die Beste! Ich studiere jetzt schon seit über einem Jahr mit ihr, und im Verlauf dieser zwei Jahre habe ich die Goethe B1- und dann die Goethe B2-Prüfungen bestanden. Sie ist nicht nur die Beste darin, Dinge zu erklären und Unterricht genau an dein Niveau und deine Bedürfnisse anzupassen, sondern sie bietet auch massgeschneidertes Material an.Die Unterrichtsstunden sind sehr intensiv und interessant.Mit Pavy zu lernen ist bei weitem das Beste von dem, was ich ausprobiert habe.Sehr empfehlenswert.

Pavy is an amazing teacher. I’ve been taking lessons with her for almost a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. She prepares a structured plan for every lesson and always introduces me to new topics and concepts. What I especially appreciate is that the lessons go far beyond just learning the language itself. We also talk about Swiss culture, places, and many interesting aspects of life in Switzerland. I can suggest topics that interest me personally, or we simply discuss current events to practice pronunciation and conversational skills. Pavy is always patient, calm, and supportive. She never hesitates to explain things multiple times if needed, which makes learning feel comfortable and encouraging. I notice clear progress after every lesson and feel more confident speaking the language each week. I’m truly grateful to have found Pavy as my teacher, and I’m looking forward to many more lessons with her.
