I'm an American certified TEFL teacher. In my free time, I love to go hiking, practice yoga, and spend time with friends. I also love traveling and would love to hear more about your culture!教学经验
I taught 5th grade in New Jersey for thirteen years. As an elementary school teacher, I taught reading, writing, math, and social studies. I constantly modified lessons in order to meet the needs of special education students and "gifted and talented" students. I also obtained a Masters in Reading and Literacy during this time. In Spain, I taught ESL to children and adults. Eventually, I left Spain and moved back to the USA where I worked as a middle school teacher. I am currently teaching yoga, wellness, and helping children with reading and writing.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
The most important thing is that you, the student, get what you need. I teach different types of lessons, depending on the student. Some students prefer to focus on grammar, while others want to practice having fluent conversations. Therefore, I will ask you what your goals are and plan classes accordingly.
I'll do my best to utilize topics of interest. In addition, I will elicit answers out of you, rather than give you the answers, because I believe this method helps you retain the information better. I'll also check for understanding by instructing you to use new words/phrases in a sentence of your own.我的教学资料
