Hello! My name is Thomas, a multilingual teacher fluent in 11 languages—with German and Slovenian as my native tongues and with a lifelong passion for studying new ones (I’m currently learning 3). With 25 years of teaching experience (20 as an independent tutor), I specialize in structured, school-style lessons tailored to your goals. When teaching I take both my schedule and my classes seriously. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our previous sessions.
I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes (I now conduct my lessons on Teams) and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our lessons, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格

I try to conduct my classes in a way that resembles the conventional school as much as possible. Meaning a thorough explanation of the grammar with several carefully tailored examples, exercises, homework, checking the student's progress, listening and reading comprehensions and once the student's knowledge progresses sufficiently, having a conversation class.我的教学资料

I usually conduct about 35 to 50 hours of classes weekly.

Thomas is a great teacher and has helped me not pronounce 'h' in all sorts of Spanish words, even though it seems to be a hard lesson for me to learn. Thomas is very patient and knows a lot about language structure and history. He's also more than happy to translate Bad Bunny song lyrics (my idea) alongside structured lessons on grammar.

Thomas quickly assessed the level of my existing 'knowledge' of Swedish. Next he created a worksheet for what he was teaching me - continuously updating and adding as I kept learning. Time flew by, he most definitely thought in a way that will make it stick.

Thomas is very encouraging even when I repeatedly pronounce the silent Spanish 'h'. Our classes have lots of grammar, which I love, and curiosity about the origins of words in multiple languages. We cover a huge amount of content in a short time and an hour and a half flies by!
