My name is Veronica and I attended University in the United States, and now have a bachelors degree in Philosophy and Economics, with a certification in Marketing. During my time in university, I worked as the Director of Corporate Relations for a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association. I was born in the United States and moved to Argentina when I was 13, then returned to the United States for university. I've spoken both English and Spanish fluently my whole life, although I am better in English at an academic level as opposed to Spanish.

I've always had a knack for teaching and tutoring friends and family around me. Whether it be in their English, Spanish, or other subject areas in school. Now, I've been an English teacher for 5+ years, and I absolutely love it. It's important for me to develop a good relationship with my students as we work on bettering their English level.
After having pursued a career in marketing, I'm making a pivot to teaching full time alongside Italki. I am enrolled in an Alternate Certification Program, which is a certification that allows teachers to teach legally at public and private schools in the United States. We will mainly focus on improving your conversational English. This is simply done by talking and correcting any grammar mistakes you might make or mistakes in your sentence structure or pronunciation.
If your reading level is something that you would like to improve on, we will look over articles or stories you may enjoy. This will broaden your vocabulary and help you familiarize yourself with how different forms of media are written in English.
If you'd also like to improve your writing in English, at the end of a lesson I will give you a question or topic to write about and we will review what you wrote the next lesson and correct any mistakes you may have made.我的教学资料

Veronica is simply great. The enthusiasm she shows for what she is doing is contagious, and can transform even the boring task of a grammar and style review of some text into a creative and joyful experience. I did some lessons last year with her, and now when in need I had no second thought and just came back to her!
