Languages are my passion! And I hold a bachelor's degree in Spanish philology and a TAFL certification, so I'm aware of students' difficulties in learning a new language.
In addition, I continue to study Islamic Studies and have a psychology diploma in Psychological Health, Family Counseling, and Positive Parenting.
I grew up in Kuwait (the Gulf Area) and currently live in Cairo. I'm an extroverted, optimistic, and cheerful person who always wants to help others and improve lives!教学经验

With more than 3000 hours of online teaching experience, I have assisted hundreds of students around the world in achieving their objectives of speaking Arabic comfortably.
I am a professional Arabic teacher. Certified from IH Cairo Institute.
I teach Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian, Levantine, and Kuwaiti dialect through activities and exercises during the lesson and assignments until the next class.

Every student has their own learning style, so let me know yours in our first lesson. My approach will be customized according to what you prefer.
I speak English and Spanish, but I rarely use English or Spanish words in my classes (except when the student asks for them).

Maha is an excellent, patient and kind teacher! It can be challenging to learn a new language online but Maha makes it so engaging, fun and very enjoyable. I love the shared google doc where she writes all new words so that I can see them during the class or review them later, how the class is well structured, her presentation of new topics and materials (ppt and recordings, quizzlets..etc) and useful and manageable homeworks after every class (I love homework :D ). Although I am still a beginner, we have conversations at the beginning of the class in Arabic, using new vocab as well as words from previous classes, which helps me strengthen the grammar and words I learned in classes before and keep on using them. I also love that Maha speaks in Arabic instead of English even though I am beginner and if there is something I do not understand, she explains is perfectly in English. I am so happy I found her here on italki and to be able to have classes with her:) !شكرا جزيلا مها

Maha is such an encouraging teacher! She helped me express myself more confidently today. I am now able to have short conversations about my day. She explained some new grammar concepts and helped me fully understand how they work, and I got plenty of practice with them.

very nice and effective conversation lesson. Maha manages to structure the lesson in such a way that the time is pleasant and you still learn a lot of vocabulary and grammar. She always understands exactly what you need linguistically at any given moment
