Hello! I'm Lina, originally from Chongqing, China—a historic city with 3,800 years of rich cultural heritage. I bring a lively, cheerful, and warm personality to my teaching, making learning both engaging and enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I'm passionate about reading, sports, and traveling, which fuels my love for sharing authentic Chinese expressions and cultural insights. Forming a personal relationship with my students is paramount. This I do by asking many questions about themselves such as where they live, their interests, their goals and what form they would like the lesson to take.. Would they like to only practice pronunciation or would they like me to assist them with language aspects, such as grammar, vocabulary building, sentence construction spelling. Repetition and practice is of prime importance. By applying patience and positive reinforcement and feedback, I inspire and motivate students to be able to converse in real life situations.
