Silvia is such a wonderful teacher, she is interactive, unique, she is very passionate and encouraging in her teaching, and she provides many fun materials to work with, she just really builds that fun learning atmosphere. I'm very thankful I found her in my spanish-learning journey. (Ella esta la pera! she's the best) :)))

I know some basics of Spanish. But has been too many years since I wanted to learn to speak Spanish at a good conversational level. There is never enough time or motivation to learn the language on my own. So I decided to find a teacher to help me get on track. What I like about Silvia's classes is that she always brings energy to class. She has great sense of humor, is well prepared for classes and has lots of teaching experience. She genuinely enjoys sharing Spanish culture and connects it to the language learning. Speaking about movies, food, interesting places and just life experiences makes learning vocabulary and grammar much more entertaining. Certainly, it is a long journey but I think that having a great teacher will help me get to a decent practical level of speaking Spanish.

Silvia and I went over our past week, and our plans for the upcoming weekend. We then went over common slang terms used in Spain. The conversation was natural and completely in Spanish, helping me better understand colloquial conversation.

Silvia is a great teacher with interactive methods, I’ve had her for years now, and I’ve never once been disappointed. She helps me with homework and I have never failed a test with her help. Truly a great teacher, definitely recommend.
