Franco is the loveliest teacher I’ve ever had, I feel so lucky to have found him as my Italian teacher. He is not only a great teacher but an incredible person. I usually get nervous before I take lessons or classes for anything but I never feel that way before my lessons with him. He is so great at making you feel comfortable and inspires motivation and an eagerness to keep learning. He is also exceptional at making it feel fun and interesting to learn, unlike language classes at school often feel. Lessons with him always feel like I’m talking to a friend and I just so happen to also be learning a new language while doing so! I highly recommend to take lessons with him, I plan to do so for as long as he teaches! Grazie mille Franco!

Franco is a gem. Since he is a translator by profession, he is able to offer a linguistic perspective when sustaining conversation and explaining concepts. He is also worldly and learned.

Franco is leading me into speaking Italian. I’ve been studying on and off so I haven’t spoken much. He presents situations that I can think through and make a response or a question. His structure also provides me a guide to study outside of class and really absorb the material for next time!

Very engaging and comfortable conversation. Franco was knowledgeable and friendly. He introduced vocabulary, conjugations, past and future tense. He liked my pronunciation and seemed to have a clear understanding of how I think, work and study. He recommended ideas for study time and stayed on topic throughout our lesson.
