I try to create a positive and supportive conversation space so that you can feel relaxed and comfortable to try your speaking skills and build confidence. ___________ About Me I'm a NYC-raised, CELTA-certified language instructor with international work/travel experience across continents, seas, and cultures. I like to discover the world and learn about different cultures, languages, and people. I also like to talk about history, geography, food/cooking, technology, design, current events, or anything that explores the way we view the world. ____________________ About My Lessons My lessons are designed around you, focusing on developing practical language and communication skills with cultural insights and real-world contexts. - Flexible learning adapted to your language levels/skills, interests, goals, and other personal/professional factors - Conversation, discussion, or role-play practice with common vocabulary, phrases, slang, idioms, and other colloquial expressions, that are introduced naturally during interactions - Using “appropriate” language in diverse real-world contexts - Business/workplace communication support to international professionals - Cultural education as a key aspect of language learning

I could only give five stars, but Alex deserves way more. He is friendly and attentive. He said to me that he only accepts a limited amount of students to know us better and make connections with us. I truly feel that during our conversations. Alex always listens to me very carefully and asks me interesting questions that let me think more about my projects. I often end up the lessons having even more ideas for my projects. Alex is a gold mine, don’t look for other teachers out there, I tried more than 50 of them and Alex is hands up one of the bests. I don’t even feel like I am learning English, but I am! I can’t recommend his lessons more.
