I graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1998. I got my TEFL certificate in Barcelona in 2002.
I lived in the United States most of my life. I liked living there, but I wanted to see the rest of the world. I moved to Spain in 2002 and lived there for around a year. I moved to Japan in 2004, and have been living here ever since.
I have studied Spanish and am currently studying Japanese.
I'd say my main hobby is just studying life. I like looking into how things work. I love learning about people and how they think and react to the world around them.
I also like playing guitar and singing. Also, if I have free time, I enjoy watching a good movie.教学经验
I have taught all ages of students, from 3 years old to 75, from beginner to advanced, and classes consisting of one student up to classes with 48 students. I have taught English in schools, from preschool to university, in various offices, as well as to many private students. I have prepared students for the TOEFL, TOEIC, EIKEN, B2 First (Cambridge First Certificate), and IELTS.
As a teacher, being able to motivate my students is one of the most important things I can do. I do this by making learning English interesting and by showing students how they can use what they learn in real-life situations.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I have taught all ages of students at all levels of English. I can you improve your English for school, work, or hobby. Whatever reason you have for studying English, I can help you achieve your goals.
We will start the class by getting to know each other and finding out your goals. I will then plan out our classes to achieve those goals. We can use textbooks, news articles, or whatever you want to use to learn English. Since I’ve taught every style of class, we can also do whatever style is best for the student, from a freer to a more regimented style. Oh, I don't even know how to use regular language to describe Chris and this class.
