Hi everybody! My name is Hamide and I'm a native Persian speaker from Iran. I have a civil engineering (Geotechnics) background with a master's degree. I'm passionate about music and I've been playing Tar and Setar (Persian musical instruments) since I was 11. I also love teaching, learning new languages, shooting (10 m air pistol) and traveling.教学经验
I would like to help others learning and practicing English and Persian. I took the IELTS exam and I was able to get perfect scores on the Listening and the Reading sections. I try to run my classes in a friendly way. I teach all levels from the very beginner to intermediate. We will begin with an assessment to figure out your level in the first lesson. You will get the materials prepared for your level and interests. Also, I teach you the study and test taking skills needed to maximize your IELTS listening and reading scores. We are going to have conversation on anything you like but at the same time, we will be focusing on your pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar etc. We can also listen to songs/podcasts to improve your listening skills. Homework is given if you want.5.0

I highly recommend Hamide - she is experienced, engaging and patient. Our lessons are tailored to my needs and vocab level, allowing me to practice the topics that are most useful to my day to day life while learning new words and grammar that are appropriately challenging. Our conversations allow for in-the-moment coaching and useful corrections in a way that never makes me feel dumb, no matter how many times I make the same mistakes. I enjoy and look forward to our lessons. My language skills wouldn't be as strong without her skill as a teacher.

Hamide has took me from complete beginner to being able to have full, one hour conversations completely in Farsi.
Her English is perfect, which is very useful in explaining things when you are a beginner. She's very patient and kind and uses a variety of methods to help you improve quickly.
And she is very interesting, funny and open minded, so conversation is very easy and fun with her!

Hamideh, in addition to being an excellent teacher, is a lovely, friendly, understanding, caring person and is always in a good mood, which is essential to have a good class. Before taking classes with Hamideh, I took classes with more than 10 teachers, but only with Hamideh did I really start to learn and feel safe talking in English. Hamideh, in addition to my teacher, is now a very close friend, and I have a huge affection for her.

In this lesson I've learned a lot about culture, history and the necessary vocabulary to speak about such topics. It is fun to speak to Hamide and lessons feel like a natural conversation.
