Mai Ehsan

I have been studying Egyptian Arabic with Mai for over a year, and feel enormous improvements in my language skills due to these lessons. Each lesson is well-structured and have tangible goals that make learning manageable and enjoyable. Mai is patient and does a fantastic job at finding your level and speaking at a level that is both understandable and still challenges your vocabulary skills. I would highly recommend Mai for anyone wanting to learn Egyptian Arabic!

Ms Mai is a lovely and very patient teacher, her lessons are easy to follow and very informative. Her teaching style is brilliant and I have picked up Arabic much more quickly than I thought I would. I highly recommend her lessons.

Excellent initial lesson to gauge my level. We did some basic conversation questions and then we did some new vocabulary on powerpoint. Notes given in both Arabic & transliteration.

Amazing class. It was my first with Mai and I am very impressed with how fast the lesson went and how well prepared the material were. You can tell the quality of the class is highly professional and intentionally made for foreigners to hit the ground running. Mai is a lot of fun to learn from and she also has a radio voice, which makes you feel like you are on air in an Arabic TV show!

Mai is simply outstanding. She has many years of experience, and it shows. She is always friendly and encouraging, which makes learning fun and extremely effective at the same time. She helps you speak and understand the language step by step, in a clear and supportive way.
