Veronica Fontanini

Veronica is a great teacher of Italian! She patiently tutored me while I was preparing to take the CILS B1 Cittadinanza exam (I passed!). Among her many skills, she is great at calibrating her speaking in a way that matches the speed, vocabulary, and grammar level of her students. I am continuing to work with her as I prepare to take the CELI B2 exam.

Veronica was very well-prepared and has created all of her own materials, obviously geared towards native English speakers. Her teaching materials were well organized and presented, and I appreciated the structure of her lesson. She speaks at a level intuitively geared towards your own level of Italian, and tailored the lesson to quickly assess where some of my weakest language points are. I'd highly recommend her, and am looking forward to my next lesson with her!

Veronica has been my tutor for almost two years and, thanks to her, my Italian has improved exponentially. I had a pretty basic level when I started and I'm now at a place where I can comfortably converse in Italian when I'm there on vacation. She is a very patient, encouraging teacher, always organized and punctual, and shares excellent materials to work from. I also enjoy our time informally conversing in Italian. I cannot recommend Veronica more highly if you are looking for an Italian tutor!
