Andrea Jaraba

Andrea is an incredible teacher! Her classes are always cheerful, energetic, and full of positivity. She listens to every word I say with such diligence and patience, and she never makes me feel bad when I make mistakes. Instead, she gets genuinely excited when I use new words or phrases she hasn’t heard from me before—it’s so motivating! Our conversations are incredibly fun, and she does an amazing job of tailoring her questions to my level. There’s never a dull moment because Andrea knows exactly how to keep the conversation flowing while naturally bringing out new vocabulary. I always leave her classes feeling encouraged and eager to keep learning!

I was extremely happy with my lesson with Andrea. She went above and beyond to plan a proper lesson exactly as I requested. It filled up our scheduled time perfectly. She explained the concepts clearly and with much patience, making sure I understood everything before we moved on, and I finally understood concepts which I had failed to learn for years! She provided me with documents for the lesson plan and exercises to review later. I had experienced other good lessons on Italki which were more like conversational practice. But my lesson with Andrea was an absolutely superior experience regarding how much I felt she helped me review and improve my Spanish. I still can't believe how she was able to teach me so much in just one short lesson! I wish i could put 6 or 10 stars because I can not recommend Andrea highly enough and have no doubt that any student wishing to seriously improve their Spanish will be absolutely delighted to have her as a teacher! 1000% recommended!!!!!

Andrea is very patient and kind. She encouraged me to talk and provided me with just the right amount of corrections, which I appreciate. She'll really help you feel confident in using the Spanish language. Highly recommended!

I have studied Spanish with Andrea for at least a year. In that time my Spanish has grown immensely!! Compliments from others about my Spanish grammar are endless. One of my favorite things about being her student is that she takes the time and effort to make minute adjustments in my vocabulary to help me sound like a native speaker. Andrea without a doubt has become a personal friend of mine and I 100% would recommend her as a teacher!!!! Her creativity is endless. We have read books out loud, studied vocabulary, held conversations about various subjects, worked on writing sentences, worked on multiple choice. She never runs out of ideas to keeps extending my Spanish speaking abilities. My all time favorite is her helping me use coloquial vocabulary in the correct manner because who wouldn’t love using exclusively Colombian words while in Colombia and knowing the culture. I will always be grateful for her teachings and more grateful for her friendship. 20 out of 10!!!
