Salaam! I’m Hanane, your guide to confident Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and Modern Standard Arabic. With 5+ years on italki, I specialize in fast conversational skills and cultural fluency—perfect for partners, travelers, or curious learners. My students love blending language with Moroccan traditions, from tea chats to local expressions. Whether you’re starting from zero or refining fluency, I’ll tailor a clear, engaging plan just for you. Let’s turn words into connection—book a lesson and talk like a local soon! I hold a BA in English Studies with a specialization in Linguistics and a TEFL certificate and a Diploma in Teaching Arabic. I teach Arabic and Moroccan Arabic (Darija) to students of all ages and levels around the world. I place strong emphasis on speaking, as it builds confidence and keeps students engaged. My lessons include exercises, articles, and discussions using videos, audio, and interactive dialogues. I also offer unique conversational topics that enhance fluency and cultural understanding. I’m familiar with various learning styles and passionate about helping each student succeed. Need urgent help? I'm available 6 days a week and keep extra hours open for emergencies or last-minute lessons. I'm passionate about teaching and always explore modern methods to keep classes engaging and effective. Hanane is an amazing teacher who is deeply deeply knowledgeable about her language! She demonstrates such a depth of her grammatical understanding in darija and shows great depth in her pedagogy. She makes me very excited and motivated to learn darija. She’s very personable and friendly and pleasant to talk to! I’d entirely recommend her as a teacher of any language but particularly darija.

Hanane is a very effective and engaging teacher. I have been working with her twice a week for almost 3 months and my skill and confidence in Darija has grown immensely.
