Hi everyone! My name is Olivia and I am Swiss. I have a passion for languages and like to share the German and Swiss German languages with you. I am happy to have conversation with you and to help you improving your skills! I am also student on italki and am currently learning Mandarin. I have a background in Marketing and Economics in which field I also did my Bachelors and Masters degree in. I am a friendly and open person and interested in many topics!
As a teacher, I am very patient and friendly, and I strive to make you feel comfortable speaking. I’m happy when you achieve the progress and goals you set, and when you start feeling more at ease speaking naturally and expressing yourself in German or Swiss German.
I believe that the most important and successful factor in learning a new language is to have fun and feel comfortable! My lessons cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced, and we can have conversations about topics that interest you and help you progress. What a great first lesson I had with Olivia. We were able to talk about a wide array of topics, learned new vocabulary that I will be able to use right away in my German courses, and learned so many new fascinating things about Swiss culture. I even learned a bit of Swiss German for extra fun. Danke sehr Olivia, Auf Wiedersehen! Ade!! :)
