Dena makes learning a new language much less intimidating than other teachers I've experienced. I don't get nervous about be underprepared for our lessons as she never makes me feel pressure, which is my preferred style since I'm doing these lessons for fun and don't want them to be stressful. Really appreciate that she's also giving me tips along the way that are focused on how real conversations happen vs what is learned in a textbook.

My best Spanish & English teacher, not gonna lie. She does enjoy her job and always keeps friendly atmoshepre. In just 2 years my effort and her I've achieved pretty good Spanish and learnt how to talk almost from zero. English with Dena was, as always, a pleasure. In the conversation classes, she corrects me without interrupting, offers suggestions for better phrasing or vocabulary by revisiting the topics from her own perspective, and thus keeps the conversation flowing, just as it would in a normal conversation.

Dena is fantastic. She is incredibly energetic, positive, and engaging, which made the class enjoyable from start to finish. She creates a comfortable environment where I feel confident speaking Spanish, even when making mistakes. The lesson was well organized, interactive, and adapted to my level and goals.
