Hello! I teach Latin and Ancient Greek at all levels. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Classics from the University of Kansas where I specialized in Latin literature. I love reading epic poetry, but I’m always down to read something new! While I work now as a game developer in Stockholm, I still tutor part-time. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, paddle, and learning new languages (Swedish most recently)!教学经验
I’ve taught beginning and advanced Latin as well as introductory Ancient Greek at the university level. I’m more than happy to tailor our lessons and pacing to your desired goals–whatever they may be! Perhaps you’re a medical student who wants to get a better grip on Latin and Greek roots or a high school student who wants additional practice, or even a lifelong learner who’s just plain interested in Latin and Greek – I’m here for ya! For more traditional students, I combine grammar education with composition and reading fluency exercises to help you read faster and dictionary-free! I’m a huge etymology nerd and I find that learning how these words have developed over time helps tremendously with remembering vocabulary.
For students with other goals, we can discuss what you’d like to learn and the best methods for the individual. This could include reading texts together, discussing grammatical concepts, learning etymologies, studying roots, etc. There are a myriad of reasons you may want to study Latin or Ancient Greek, so let’s have a chat and figure out what works best for you!我的教学资料

LecturerI taught courses in Intro to Greek & Roman Myth, Ancient Epic Tales, Intro to Ancient Greek, and Intro to Latin. I designed and taught an Intermediate Latin class focused on Vergil’s Aeneid. I was responsible for crafting my own syllabi, lesson plans, lectures, and assignments.

Chad is a superb Latin tutor. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and is well prepared for lessons. He is very easy going while still being professional and he is good natured about my questions relating to classical Roman life and culture. I highly recommend him.
