After about 88 lessons with Alen, I’ve really come to appreciate how thoughtful and effective his teaching style is. He explains grammar clearly, reinforces concepts through conversation, and gives feedback in a way that genuinely helps me grow. I’ve become so much more confident speaking because of his approach. What I also value is how he incorporates Haitian culture into our lessons. It makes learning feel alive and meaningful, and it’s helped me feel a deeper connection to the language and its roots. That’s something really special and not something every teacher offers. I’m truly grateful for the experience.
