My Spanish was *extremely* rusty when I started classes with Leo (and to be honest it was never that good to begin with). After a handful of classes, I got way better, much more comfortable, and felt relaxed about embarking on a trip to a small town in Uruguay (which went great). I recommend Leo if you're looking for a relaxed, friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable instructor.

Hoy, por ejemplo, hemos hablado de ver a Uruguay en el Mundial, de la frase "me da vergüenza ajena," y de lo que hizo el pavo de Joe Biden que merece ser perdonar. I had a great lesson with Leo. He was very encouraging which made me comfortable speaking in the language. And he gave me good resources to use for homework and self-study.

Leo is a great teacher for all levels. Whether you need to practice speaking or learn the nitty gritty of Spanish, he's your guy. Highly recommend!

Leo is an amazing teacher! He shows visual examples of different scenarios and then we start discussing them. He types words and sentences as we are talking so that you can see the words on the screen in real time. He also Googles related examples right away. He is very easy going, non judgmental and encouraging - always positive! I highly recommend him!

Leo is AWESOME! In a very short amount of time he has figured out how I enjoy learning and has tailored our time together to fit into my style. He's fun, personable and very charming.
