My name is Sofia and I’m a Greek language tutor and a native speaker of Greek. For my BA and MA, I studied Classics in Greece and abroad.教学经验
I have 5 years of experience in teaching modern and ancient Greek to children and adults of various levels, from absolute beginners to advanced students. In my lessons, we will practice all aspects of linguistic competence, namely writing, speaking, listening, and reading.
My goal while teaching is to maintain your enthusiasm and curiosity during this learning journey. I can guarantee that it’s going to be fun and that you will see results in the first months of our lessons.
But the most important thing for me is to make the lessons relevant to you and your interests.

• If you are a beginner, I will get you step-by-step on the path to fluency!
• If you are already an intermediate or advanced speaker, we can practice mostly speaking and writing.
• If your goal is to learn ancient Greek, I can construct lessons that are particular to your interests, and teach you the grammar and syntax of the language by focusing on either Classical, Byzantine or Biblical Greek.
• If your goal is to enhance your knowledge of Ancient Greek, I offer close-reading classes on any ancient writer of your choice.我的教学资料

Sofia is a great teacher! I just started learning the Greek language, but she has been helpful and motivating. I appreciate her structured lessons with good material, and she always makes sure to send supplementary lessons as well. She helps keep me on track, and I definitely would recommend her to serious language learners who are interested in advancing their Greek.

Thanks for an amazing class! I really enjoyed our first session. Sofia is a very kind and competent teacher. After assessing my goals she provided me with a bunch of interesting and extremely helpful resources that were appropriate for my level. I already learned so much during this first class. I really enjoyed my trial lesson with teacher Sofia. She is very kind, and she is very positive. She explained to me how the class structure will be, and she also asked me my preferences to accommodate the course material to my needs. I am really looking forward to class with Sofia. I especially appreciate that she will be focusing more on speaking instead of simply explaining. I am looking forward to learning with her.
